Some care only about style others focus on comfort and durability. from my experience communication with the store can tell you a lot. that is why i sometimes leave comments myself when i test a new shop or product. footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently. i enjoy reading threads where people honestly share what worked and what failed for them. metal can feel more premium but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. if anyone is interested in real user experiences i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test. you can find one of the pages here: click here i also started paying attention to how websites display sizing charts for clothing. they are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. sometimes customer service can fix a bad experience but not always. i like when a shop clearly shows pd lens height and bridge width in millimeters. it makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. in the past i have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life. just sharing my personal feedback.
